Nancy O'Dell began her broadcast career as an anchor and reporter at WPDE-TV which was located in Myrtle Beach South Carolina. Then she became a morning reporter and anchor at WCBD TV. Her articles from Charleston concerning how Charleston police handled DUI cases with care, resulted in an investigation by the State Law Enforcement Division. The investigation resulted a stricter direction for state officials. Ms. O'Dell received recognition from The Associated Press with the Best Report of the Year Awards to all media South Carolina. Following her stint living in Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV as well as an investigative journalist. She then was hired by Access Hollywood to work as a weekday and weekend correspondent. O'Dell anchors the main newscast at Access Hollywood. In addition she has contributed for NBC News Today and Dateline NBC. She has reported on occasions like The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards in addition to hosting the Pre ShowArrivals Programs during The Emmys. She also hosted Miss USA's pageant, as well as the Miss Universe Pageant.
